Process Engineer at Biogas Plus
Do you want to contribute to a circular energy supply? As a Process Engineer you provide technical competence to the team for both new build and brownfield biogas projects. Next to that, you will provide solutions which add value through improvements in existing work processes, unit operations, operating conditions and/or process technology. You will provide expertise in supporting the ongoing biogas production activities as well.
This role requires the ability to translate conceptual knowledge to practical applications. The successful candidate will be expected to quickly learn and effectively apply the Biogas Plus work processes, standards, and best practices. You will be working on the energy transition in a SME company within the context of a corporate environment: hands-on and professional!
Key responsibilities
- You ensure that the project scope is well defined and meets the business needs in a cost-effective manner;
- You ensure that the process design is safe, meets Biogas Plus and international standards;
- You drive project execution within your respective discipline;
- You provide input to project schedule and plans, and monitor progress against the plans;
- You ensure that process design deliverables meet the needs of the project including functioning as intended, on time and within budget;
- You interface with team members and vendors to ensure relevant design aspects are taken into account and implemented.
Ideal candidate
- Has great interpersonal relationship and time-management skills;
- Is a good communicator;
- Has affinity with the renewable energy market;
- Is a team player.
Skills, knowledge and experience
- You have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering;
- You have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience (i.e., engineering, manufacturing or related);
- You preferably have knowledge in the field of renewable energy, waste water plants and/or gas treatment applications;
- Good knowledge of P&ID’s;
- Good knowledge of AutoCad P&ID and Microsoft Office;
- You can speak and write English on a professional level;
- You are preferably knowledgeable of the Dutch language.
