Successful qualification Biogas Plus within Jumpstart

We are pleased to announce that the Biogas Plus installations are qualified. This means that from this month, FrieslandCampina's member dairy farmers will have even more choice to significantly reduce methane, CO2 and ammonia emissions. This means that energy can be generated at the same time for a good fee.

Strict performance guarantees after gaining experience
Since Jumpstart was founded, a lot of experience has been gained in the field of manure fermentation at farm level. This has resulted in the installations being carefully tested by Jumpstart before they are offered to the dairy farmers. This mainly concerns proven, long-term good performance of the installations and good service for the dairy farmers. The installations of Biogas Plus, part of ENGIE, have successfully passed the 21-day performance test, which means that interested dairy farmers now have the choice of three different suppliers of installations, suitable for different types of business, from small to large.

Interest increased significantly
The qualification of Biogas Plus comes at a good time. Dairy farmers are increasingly interested in mono fermentation of manure, now that confidence in the technology and the earnings model is growing. In addition, additional financial incentives and opportunities for development are created by reducing nitrogen and / or methane emissions, certainly in combination with a mono-manure digester (CHP) with mineral separator. Increased member choice and plant performance guarantees due to strict vendor requirements pave the way for greater proliferation in new Jumpstart installations.
