Project Engineer at Biogas Plus
Do you want to use your knowledge and experience to make the future energy supply renewable and circular? As a Project Engineer you can have a crucial role in sustainable biogas projects! With a broad technical knowledge and good project management skills you are able to guide our projects from start to commissioning.
Key responsibilities
- Establishes the project framework for delivering engineering and design for one large or several smaller projects.
- Monitoring for safe/sustainable engineering, quality, cost and schedule delivery of all work by the engineering team on the project.
- Responsible for the communication with suppliers concerning technical specifications and calculations.
- Coordination of the technical aspects of quotations in collaboration with the purchasing department as a package owner.
- Compiling of the necessary mechanical and process calculations.
- Ensures team member adherence to generally accepted engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
- Supports the standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates.
- Drives innovative solutions, technology advances and methods to effectively deal with working out of sequence.
- May create plans or documents that supports construction, testing, commissioning, operations, maintenance or decommissioning.
- Change order management.

- Has a helicopter view.

Skills, knowledge and experience
- Typically has minimum 5 years of relevant discipline experience and experience as a Project Engineer/ Mechanical Engineer on brownfield / green field projects.
- At least 2 years in petrochemical and refining with project design, execution and construction.
- Be comfortable using MS Office, Teams, SharePoint & other collaboration tools.
- Demonstrated leadership skills & managed small to medium sized projects.
- You are capable of technical stewardship on projects.
- On-site or Refinery Experience is a plus.
- You can speak and write English on a professional level.
- You are preferably knowledgeable of the Dutch language.
